Built on a Simple Belief
Voltra Electrical opened its doors in 2011 with one job: rewire an aging Kensington bungalow that three other contractors had quoted badly. Fifteen years and 500+ projects later, that same principle still runs the company — every quote itemized, every circuit labeled, every inspection booked before the drywall goes up.
The work has ranged from full rewires in Inglewood heritage homes to commercial fit-outs in Beltline office towers, from Tesla Wall Connector installs in Tuscany to post-hailstorm solar inverter swaps in Cochrane. What changes every job is the code — the Canadian Electrical Code updates, Alberta's amendments, ENMAX service rules. What doesn't change is the workflow: scope it accurately, permit it properly, pass inspection the first time.
Today the service area stretches from central Calgary out to Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, High River, Strathmore, and Canmore. Crews are small and specialized — a residential team, a commercial team, and the only dedicated solar maintenance crew operating full-time in the Calgary market. The office is in Calgary, the licences are Alberta, and the WCB number gets printed on every quote.
