Panel upgrades, EV chargers and acreage service in Cochrane
Cochrane mixes newer communities such as Sunset Ridge, Rivercrest and Greystone with older in-town homes and acreages on the edge of town. Typical jobs range from a load check before an EV charger or hot tub in a newer home to a service upgrade, a detached-garage feed or a safety inspection on an older home or acreage. Voltra runs the load calculation, files the Town of Cochrane permit and coordinates FortisAlberta when the service has to be disconnected.
Pricing is the same as in Calgary apart from any FortisAlberta charges on the utility side; see the panel upgrade and EV charger cost guides.
Emergency electrician in Cochrane
For a burning smell, sparking, a hot panel or half the house without power, call the 24/7 line at (403) 800-7475. Voltra targets 1–2 hours on site in Cochrane for urgent hazards. If the whole street is out, report it to FortisAlberta first.
